More Atlanta updates!
O hai!
It’s sundaynight, and I’m tired. It’s been an amazing week so far, and this weekend was to die for.
After roaming around Atlanta the past days and visiting things like the world of coke or the high museum, Carlos, Mike and Sam arrived in Atlanta for what ended up to be a very fun weekend.
Carlos, Mike and I went to the Georgia aquarium, since I had failed in doing so all week, and then went for drinks in a Mexican bar where cellphonereception was unheard of, and we then met up with Sam who had arrived by then.
We went to their hotel and then decided to hit the liquorstore for vodka to start what ended up in a very drunk night.
While Sam remained in the hotel because he didn’t ‘feel’ like going to the club, Mike, Carlos and I went to Blake’s… Where some random guy asked if Carlos and I were newlyweds. Lmao.
Anyway, we then ended up in a 24hr diner with a dj and everything, ate breakfast one way or another, and went back to the hotel around 3-4ish where we met up with Sam again by giving him a much needed pillow ![]()
After waking up the next morning – without being hungover fyi! – we went mallshopping. Atlantic station and Lenox were the destinations, though we hit up American Apparel outside Lenox as well. Money was spend, and another day flew by.
For dinner we went to the Hard Rock Cafe… Where they were all dancing to YMCA. Yes, it was doomed to become another fun night. And it was, alcohol in the hotelroom this time without hitting the clubs, we ended up going to bed a bit earlier but we woke up way later this morning ![]()
Memorable moments include singing No Scrubs, talking about (the lack of) healthcare, inappropriate things and getting slammed in your chair. The Twitter accounts of me, @imike1411, @likesrobots and @samthereforiam will show you way too many quotes and random moments so feel free to check those out for more detailed randomness ![]()
I love people, and it was sad saying goodbye to Carlos, Mike and Sam because I have no idea when I’ll ever see them again… Something that will happen more during my trip. I’m not into that.
I’ve had an amazing trip so far, and I’m loving it! Tuesday I’m off to Dallas/Arlington!
